Design 2686 Manhattan Sailing Club Floating Clubhouse
Special projects - if you are ever sailing in and around New York Harbor, there is a "harbor station" for the Manhattan Sailing Club anchored near Ellis Island. This floating clubhouse was designed and engineered by Sparkman & Stephens. Launch service is provided for club members from North Cove Marina and it's a great place to watch the J24 racing that takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday in the harbor. The start and finish lines emanate from the balcony of the clubhouse. The clubhouse is Coast Guard certified for 149 persons. It's just one of a variety of special projects we enjoy participating in.
Here's a great shot of the start line view from the second story of the clubhouse.
