Yacht window trims made to order
This would depend on the supply of a drawing or an exact template by whoever wants them?
What started out as an idea was expanded to the point where the trims were fabricated, painted with epoxies and polyurethane top coats. The boats cabin top has six windows, making the 6mm five ply okoume marine ply trims was a full weeks work due to the many stages.
Setting out takes most time, then the cutting has to be done , Power tools and hand tools, then hand finishing and drilling the screw holes, countersinks etc. This can more easily be done faster and cheaper on the CNC machine we use.
Fitted today, they look like they should have been there all along?
Easy, well sort of but the idea did take some time.
They can be now be made on the CNC machine we use and posted to you world wide.

Hillman Imp Californian coupe rear side window rubbers
The car is a rare 1967 Imp Californian.
The rear side window rubbers arrived from our suppliers today and are perfect fit.
This is the retro type and will not accept the original Rootes Car Co, painted metal insert which covered most of the rubber.
The supplier tells me these are the last pair he had and has no plans to make anymore.
They should last another fifty years I guess?
There is no glass fitted at this stage as we need the re trimming job finishing inside the car first.
